Kemi Adeosun, minister of finance, on Monday, held a meeting with officials from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Debt Management Office.
The Minister finance has been accused of forging her NYSC exemption certificate and she is yet to speak on the matter.
The National Youth Service Corps NYSC in its reaction to the “purported exemption certificate” said the Mrs Adeosun did apply for exemption certificate but refused to give further details if the certificate was actually issued to her:

Our attention has been drawn to the issue of the alleged forgery of an NYSC Exemption Certificate by the Honorable Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun.
Checking our records, Mrs. Adeosun did apply for an Exemption Certificate.
We shall investigate the origin of the purported Exemption Certificate in question.

Premium Times, an online news platform had reported how the minister forged NYSC certificate to grad a government appointment in Nigeria.
According to Premium Times, “Nigeria’s Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun, did not participate in the mandatory one-year national youth service scheme. Instead, she forged an exemption certificate many years after graduation.”
